Last four pictures are taken at the pull out leaving the Kenai Princess Lodge and RV Park. I stood in one place and snapped away. It is peaceful and serene at its best. Another plus is the pretty shade of green water.
The water is an unusual shade of green but it didn't show in the pictures. Too bad I didn't know more about adobe photoshop- could make them perfect colors! It was very quiet along that stretch of road and very peaceful scenery.
I've lived in Anchorage almost 30 years and recently started loving it here! I purchased a Winnebago Chalet motorhome three years ago to travel throughout Alaska visiting RV Parks. Now we have the luxury of plugging-in among trees.
I hope you enjoy reading about my adventures in Alaska and come back often to see how far from home we've wandered or what we're doing when we are in Anchorage.
OK--now I am officially homesick! Sure is beautiful, and I miss that. But not as much as I miss friends and family.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking Deb....I love to stare at those pictures. Thanks for thinking of us.
ReplyDeleteditto...the photos are great. For some reason the third one wouldn't open...perhaps it will later.
