Weekend In Seward

I added this "saying" to the motorhome wall last year and I looked at it with a new appreciation this weekend. Life Is Good= blue sky as we leave Seward Sunday Morning! The beauty surrounding Seward is magnificiant. There were eagles flying around the beach area often.

Life is Good= delicious food! Scones, Grilled Sweet Potatoes and Breakfast Burritos to name a few of my favorite RV meals.

Life Is Good = initiating friends to RV camping! Welcome Heather and our Copic Markers.

Life Is Good= Bloody Mary's outside in the cold rainy weather that is typical in Seward!

Life Is Good= downtown Seward socked in all weekend....but we walked anyway.

Yes, I know and appreciate that MY LIFE IS GOOD!

My Blog Anniversary

I just realized that I started my blog one year ago on June 5th. It hasn't been a daily journal but a wonderful recap of the fun and events in my life. I plan to continue blogging - from Pennsylvania this next month and more often this year.
Thanks for coming back to visit and commenting throughout this past year-I have a couple planned for this week already!!

Just like that....

I received the news today that I will no longer be employed by Dr. Remaklus as of June 30th.

It was a bit of a shock but not totally unexpected....I go on vacation June 22nd so that is really my last day.

He is closing the doors- no more practicing in Juneau or Anchorage- and he pretty much "hopes to fade away into the woodwork".

I will enjoy my month in Pennsylvania, enjoy my family and my friends and start looking for a new job the first week in August.

Change is a Good Thing!

I hope to have plenty of pictures to post from "home" ... it is time I get back to my blogging and this vacation is the perfect place to start!
